Sickness Absence Management

Often sickness absence will be due to minor ailments, however any absence can potentially result in a significant impact on a business; be it recurring, short-term or long-term, regardless of how big or small an enterprise is.

Absence from the workplace could be reduced through monitoring absenteeism and identifying any common trends, and

Occupational Health practitioners can assist in this process by assessing the current situation, carrying out workplace visits and appraisals to identify possible origins of ill health and advising on remedial action which may assist in reducing absences, and suggesting interventions to tackle these.

Kernow Occupational Health can provide support in the following ways:

 - Assessment of current health status and ability to perform the role
